Open the FAQ Accordion in Fugte
In Fugte, open Starters, search for FAQ, and choose Use on the FAQ Accordion. It opens in the editor as your own copy.
Canva text boxes cannot open or close, so an FAQ built from them shows every answer at full length, and the page grows with each question you add. An embedded FAQ starts with every answer closed. Visitors click the question they came for, or type in the search box above the list to find it.
Canva websites show embeds that sit in the page, never ones that float over it, so a floating help button, a sticky FAQ bar, or a popup FAQ will not appear on a Canva site, from any provider. This FAQ sits in the page where you put it, which is the kind Canva shows.
Answers change more than anything else on a small site. Change one in Fugte and publish again, and within about a minute the published Canva site shows it, without the Canva design being opened. One thing an embedded FAQ will not do is help your Canva page rank: search engines generally credit text inside an embed to the embed's own address. If a question needs to be found in search, also write it as text on your page.
Why Fugte
Canva's FAQ templates are designs for posts, stories, and printouts. Downloaded, they are images, so nothing in them opens, and nothing in them can be searched.
An FAQ built from text boxes on a Canva website shows every answer at full length. Changing one answer means opening the design, editing it, and publishing the site again.
Every answer starts closed, and a search box filters the list. Change an answer in Fugte and publish, and the Canva site shows it within about a minute.
Step by step
In Fugte, open Starters, search for FAQ, and choose Use on the FAQ Accordion. It opens in the editor as your own copy.
On the Blocks tab, each question is a block with its answer, up to 30. Replace the samples and drag them into order. On the Settings tab, set the heading, the subtitle, the search box, and the background, text, and accent colors.
Publish the widget and copy its link from the publish panel. Canva takes the link. It does not accept HTML embed code on any plan.
In your Canva website design, open Apps in the left sidebar, search for Embed, and open it. Paste the link into Web link and choose Add to design.
Canva sizes the box to the FAQ with every answer closed, so an opened answer has nowhere to go and is cut off or scrolls inside the box. Drag the box tall enough for your longest answer to open, keep answers short, and leave the search on for a long list.
Publish the Canva site, then open the published page on a computer and on a phone and click your longest question. If its answer is cut off, make the box taller in Canva and publish again.
Edit the answer in Fugte and publish again. Reload the published Canva site, and within about a minute it shows the new answer. Nothing changes in Canva.
Good to know
Canva renders only static, in-page embeds: floating buttons, sticky bars, and popups will not work on Canva sites.
There is no site-wide option: a widget you want on several pages must be embedded on each page individually.
The Embed element is available on free Canva accounts.
The link stays stable, so later edits made in the widget editor appear on the Canva page automatically, no need to reopen the design.

FAQ
As a design, yes: Canva has FAQ templates for posts and printouts. On a Canva website, text boxes cannot open and close, so every answer shows at full length. For answers that open on click, embed an FAQ by link with Canva's Embed element.
Yes. Every answer is closed until a visitor clicks its question. Each one opens on its own, so a visitor can have several open at once.
The embed box is shorter than the FAQ with an answer open. Canva sizes the box to the FAQ with every answer closed, so drag it taller in Canva and publish the site again. Shorter answers help, and so does the search box on a long list.
No. Canva websites show embeds inside the page, not over it, so a floating help button, a sticky bar, or a popup will not appear, whichever provider made it. Put the FAQ in a section of the page instead.
Edit it in Fugte and publish again. Within about a minute the published Canva site shows the new answer. The link in Canva stays the same, so nothing is re-pasted and the Canva site is not published again.
Do not count on it. Search engines generally credit text inside an embed to the embed's own address, not to your Canva page. If a question needs to be found in search, also write it as text on your Canva page or on a blog post.
Partly. The heading, the subtitle, and the background, text, and accent colors are settings, so set them to your Canva colors. There is no font setting: the FAQ uses the visitor's system font.
No. Canva websites do not support raw HTML, JavaScript, or iframe embeds on any plan. Hosting the widget elsewhere and embedding it by link is the supported route.
Yes. The FAQ Accordion loads live on the published site, on desktop and mobile, and visitors can interact with it without any account.
No. Canva's Embed element works on free accounts, and Fugte has a free plan, so you can test the full workflow at no cost.
