  1. Settings that appear when they apply

    A widget can keep a setting out of sight until it is relevant, such as options for one style that show only while that style is picked. Nothing you already set is lost when it hides.

Week of September 28, 2026

  1. Up to 500 items in a widget

    A widget can now hold up to 500 items, up from 100. When you fill one from a spreadsheet, the editor states the limit up front instead of quietly cutting the list short.

Week of September 14, 2026

  1. Real replies in the editor preview

    A widget that shows what people sent it, such as a guestbook or a message wall, now previews with those replies in the editor instead of an empty state.

  2. File downloads from widgets

    On a paid plan, a widget can offer visitors a file to download from a button inside it.

  1. Excel files for spreadsheet data

    Wherever a widget takes a spreadsheet, you can upload an Excel or OpenDocument file as well as a CSV.

  2. Color settings from pasted code

    Paste in code you already have and its colors become settings you can change, one per color, with the lighter and darker shades following along.

  3. Spreadsheet data

    Upload a CSV or link a published Google Sheet to a widget built for it, or turn each row of a spreadsheet into its own item.

Week of August 31, 2026

  1. Design themes in the chat

    Pick a design direction in the chat, and the widget you already have is restyled to match while keeping its content and settings.

Week of August 24, 2026

  1. Custom domains

    Serve widgets from your own domain on a paid plan, or rename your fugte.net address. The old address keeps redirecting to the new one, so anything already embedded goes on working.

  2. Private widgets

    Stop a widget being visible to anyone with the link. Paid plans can put one behind a passcode, and Creator can limit it to a list of email addresses.

  3. Remove branding from one widget

    Take the badge off a single published widget with a one-time payment, without moving to a subscription.

  4. Creator plan

    A third plan for people running client work, with fifteen live forms, a larger credit ceiling, and priority support.
