FAQ Accordion

Questions that open on click, with a search box, for any website or Canva page.

Each question is a block with its answer, up to 30, and visitors click a question to open it or search the list to find one. The heading, subtitle, search box, and colors are settings, and an answer you change in Fugte reaches every page the FAQ is embedded on.

Open a question on the preview: that is the whole widget. Every answer starts closed and opens on its own when a visitor clicks its question, so several can be open at once. The search box above the list hides each question whose question or answer does not match what is typed. It is built on the browser's own open-and-close element, so it works with a keyboard and a screen reader with no extra setup.

An FAQ is the block that changes most on a small site: a price moves, a policy changes, the same question arrives five times and earns a place. The FAQ is hosted, so you change the answer in Fugte and publish again, and every page it is embedded on shows the new version within about a minute. On a Canva website, that means the design is never reopened.

Features

What the FAQ Accordion widget can do.

Answers open on click

Every answer starts closed, so a long FAQ stays short on the page. A visitor clicks a question to open its answer and clicks again to close it, and each one opens on its own.

A search box for the list

On by default. As a visitor types, every question whose question or answer does not contain the words is hidden. Change the placeholder text, or switch the search off for a short list.

Up to 30 questions

Each question is a block with its answer, so adding one, removing one, or dragging them into a new order happens on the Blocks tab. Line breaks you type in an answer are kept.

Your heading and colors

The heading, the subtitle, and the background, text, and accent colors are settings. The accent colors the open-and-close icon, and the search box outline while someone types in it. The widget uses the visitor's system font.

Edit once, every embed updates

Change an answer in Fugte and publish again. Every page the FAQ is embedded on shows it within about a minute, with no embed code to replace and nothing to republish on the site itself.

Free to start

The free plan includes unlimited widgets and unlimited views, with a small Fugte badge. An FAQ collects nothing, so it does not use the free plan's one live form. Paid plans remove the badge everywhere, or $9.99 once removes it from a single widget.

FAQ

Common questions.

How do I add an FAQ section to my website?

Start from this widget in Fugte, write your questions and answers, set the colors, and publish. Paste the hosted link or the iframe snippet into your page. Canva, Notion, Shopify, WordPress, and Webflow each have their own step-by-step guide on this page.

Can I change the answers after the FAQ is live?

Yes. Edit the answer in Fugte and publish again, and every page the FAQ is embedded on shows the new version within about a minute. You do not touch the embed code or the site it sits on.

Will the questions help my site rank in search?

Do not count on it. The FAQ runs in an embedded frame, and search engines generally credit text inside a frame to the frame's own address, not to the page that shows it. If a question needs to be found in search, also write it as text on a page of your own site.

Can only one answer be open at a time?

No. Each answer opens and closes on its own, so a visitor can open several. Keep answers short, so the list stays readable with two or three open.

How many questions can it hold?

Up to 30. For a longer FAQ, split it by topic into two widgets, one per page or section, and leave the search box on so visitors can find a question by typing.

Can I add an FAQ section to a Canva website?

Yes. Canva has no code block, but its Embed element takes a link. Paste the published FAQ link and it sits in your Canva page, where visitors click to open each answer. A floating help button or a popup FAQ will not work on a Canva site, from any provider. The Canva guide on this page has the steps and the sizing.
